The Central government which presented the Union Budget 2025 to Parliament has declared that they will introduce the new Income Tax Bill next week. The proposed Income Tax Bill intends to make the existing Income Tax law easier to understand for everyone. The new Income Tax Bill intends to decrease its length by approximately 60 per cent of the total number of pages.

The upcoming Budget is expected to address the broad industry predictions for the capital expenditure growth together with tax relief for salaried individuals. FM Sitharaman released the Economic Survey 2025 during the first part of the Budget Session in Parliament on January 31.
